“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive” (Genesis 50:20).
Many times God uses the negative things that happen in life to work out for our benefit. He is not the author of evil, but He can turn things around in your favor.- Creflo Dollar
How timely is this Devotional, this week was a heartbreak, atlease thats what it felt like. It was very difficult; I was expecting some money to come through for me in my financial aid but turns out I'm not going to get it because I don't qualify for my Pell Grant "," quote on quote. The painful thing about is its is not even my fault my parents made to much last year, unfair. Yes I did have a emotional meltdown, all i could think was why! why is this happening to me why can't things just happened for me why do I have to be in this drought?????
My Best Friend in Christ told me not to worry and that God has something bigger and better out in stored, and that this is only an humbling time. Awaiting on the money to come all I could think is all I need is this money and I'm on. But like it says in Psalms 62:1 "For God alone my soul wait in silence, for him comes my salvation."
" Oh Lord I praise you for opening my eyes for directing me in the right path, for processing and preparing me for this new journey, new beginning to New York. I praise you for your conformation and ordering my steps in order to be on the path that you willed me to be on. i praise you for this day I praise you for life abundantly. In Jesus name, Amen."
